Terms and Conditions
The terms that apply when you enrol and study with Archer Institute, in plain English.
This page is a plain-English summary provided for convenience. The authoritative document is the official Archer Institute Terms and Conditions (PDF). Where this summary and the official terms differ, the official terms apply.
About these terms
These terms set out the agreement between you and Archer Institute (RTO 45020) when you enrol in a course or CPD with us. By enrolling, you agree to the official terms. Please read them before you enrol.
Enrolment and fees
Your enrolment is confirmed once we have processed your enrolment and any required payment. Course fees, what they include and how they are paid are shown at the point of enrolment. Fees are payable in the currency and on the terms stated at enrolment. We may update our published fees from time to time, though changes do not affect a course you have already enrolled in.
Course access
Once your enrolment is confirmed, you receive access to your course materials and learning platform for the access period that applies to your course. Our courses are delivered online and self-paced. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for having a reliable internet connection to study.
Student responsibilities
When you study with us, you agree to:
- Give accurate and complete information when you enrol and keep your details up to date.
- Complete your own assessment work and not engage in plagiarism or cheating.
- Use the course materials and platform for your own study only.
- Treat trainers, assessors, support staff and other students with respect.
- Meet any entry requirements and eligibility rules that apply to your course or state.
Completion and certification
To complete your course, you need to satisfactorily finish all required units and assessments. Once you have met the requirements and any outstanding fees are paid, we issue your qualification, statement of attainment or certificate of completion as appropriate. Nationally recognised qualifications are issued in line with our obligations as a Registered Training Organisation.
Refunds and withdrawals
If you withdraw from a course, the outcome depends on when you withdraw and how much of the course you have accessed. Our refund and withdrawal arrangements are set out in full in the official terms, and we will explain how they apply to your situation if you contact us. Please refer to the official document for the detail before you enrol.
Intellectual property
All course materials, including learning content, assessments, videos and resources, are owned by Archer Institute or its licensors and are protected by copyright. You may use them for your own study only. You must not copy, share, resell or republish them without our written permission.
Complaints and appeals
If something goes wrong, we want to put it right. You can raise a complaint or appeal a decision at any time. See our Complaints and Appeals page for how the process works.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia and the state or territory in which Archer Institute operates. Any dispute will be handled under those laws.
