Victoria has two main licence levels: the Agent’s Representative to work under a licensed estate agent, and the Estate Agent Licence to operate independently or manage your own agency. In Victoria you do not apply to Consumer Affairs Victoria yourself for the entry tier. Once you are qualified, your employing agency confirms your eligibility and notifies the Business Licensing Authority when you start. For the Estate Agent Licence, Consumer Affairs Victoria requires both the CPP41419 Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice and the CPP51122 Diploma of Property (Agency Management) completed within the last 5 years, plus 12 months of full-time experience as an agent’s representative in the last 3 years, which you can build while you study.

Yes. Archer Institute is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO 45020). Qualifications are nationally recognised under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) and, where applicable, meet the licensing requirements of Consumer Affairs Victoria. CPD is professional development rather than nationally recognised training.
